Snap One is the company behind several products we use across nearly every install — Luma Security cameras, Araknis Networks switches and routers, Binary AV equipment, and the WattBox power management line. They're not a household name but they're in a lot of the infrastructure behind properly built smart home systems.
WattBox in particular is something we specify on every project. Automated outlet control, local and remote reboot, outlet-level current monitoring, and IP alerts when something goes offline — it's the backbone of remote system management. When a client calls because something isn't working, we can often fix it remotely before they even finish describing the problem.
