Josh.ai processes everything locally. That's the thing you need to understand first. Unlike Alexa or Google Assistant, Josh doesn't send your voice data to a cloud server. Everything is handled on the Josh hub in your home, which matters a great deal when the alternative is a corporate data center recording your conversations.
The natural language processing is genuinely good — better than Alexa for complex home automation commands.
